The start of a new chapter

The time has come, after working almost 10 years as a system Engineer for the same company… I felt the need for a change. I’ve been on great journey at RTC S.p.A. starting as a Junior and growing as a Senior and Team Lead. I’ve developed a lot of skills and experience.

The last years was pure awesomeness for me, I start blogging in 2013, I was selected as VMware vExpert in 2014, PernixData PernixPro and in the same year I became VMUG Italy Leader. This year I joined the fantastic Tech Field Day crew as a Delegate, I was in Berlin for the TFDx and in San Jose for the Storage Field Day 10.

Today I’m very proud to announce that I’m joining Veeam as a Systems Engineer for the Italy Presales Team.

As a SE I will work with partners and end users to realize the benefits of Veeam software solutions. Some of my duties will be demonstrations, presentations, PoC’s, training and event attendance.

I’m also excited to join and work with some great folks, like Danilo Chiavari, Gabriele Pelizzari, Andrea Borella and Vitaliy Siciliano from Saint Petersburg.

This is a great change for me, transitioning from a system integrator to a vendor, I will got the opportunity to see the next generation of the products and the responsibility to make the best and right decision for customers.
