Released: New VMware vCenter Server 5.1 update 2
The new version of VMware vCenter Server 5.1 Update 2 has been released today by VMware.
You can download the new software from MyVMware either for classic Windows vCenter Server or the linux based vCenter Server Appliance.

What’s New
This release of VMware vCenter Server 5.1 Update 2 offers the following improvements:
- vCenter Server is now supported on Windows Server 2012 R2
- Additional Guest Operating System Customization Support – vCenter Server now supports customization of the following guest operating systems:
- Windows 8.1
- RHEL 6.4
- Windows Server 2012 R2
- SLES 11 Service Pack 3
- Database support added for Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 Service Pack 1
- Resolved Issues – This release delivers a number of bug fixes that have been documented in the Resolved Issues section.
